Inductive Encoder Chip in an Electric Motor

Electric motors come in many forms and shapes. Flat motors and frameless torque motors have become very popular for robot arms, rotary stages and many other rotary applications. Often optical encoders are not allowed because they lack environmental robustness, whereas magnetic encoders may suffer from interference by magnetic fields generated by the motor. As POSICoder's inductive encoder chips are very small and immune against magnetic field, they can be easily integrated in all types and shapes of electric motors, direct drives etc.

Which encoder chip is most suited for application in electric motors and rotary direct drives?

The PO1020 inductive encoder chip with a wide temperature profile up to 125°C, because the temperature of the motor might rise quite strongly during operation.
