Our Journey So Far

1992

Inductive encoder development started

At CSEM (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology) the development of an inductive encoder with coils integrated on a silicon chip is started.

1996

First coil-chip produced

First-generation inductive encoder with separate coil chip and electronics chip

After several intermediate development steps, the first inductive encoder consisting of an electronics-chip and a coil-chip is available as a commercial product.
